wifi off/on

Post by Ra9om1ak » 29 Jul 2013 20:44

I have a problem, and I can't solved it ;/
I tried to make a simple flow. When I'm home, turn on wifi (definied ssid, not any), and disable mobile data. And next, going out, turn off wifi, turn on mobile data.
It is not working. Sorry, my knowledge isn't enough.
Could You help me, please ?
Thx, and sorry for my "English".

I try your flow and it's working for me. Could you tell what it's not working like you want?

Sometimes not switching on mobile data, when I'm out. I've changed one thing, condition "Wifi access poit enabled" to "wifi avalaible". Seems it working properly.
I set up periodic timer every 5 minutes, what if I change to 1 minute, or two, can be a battery drain ?
Thx.

Well, I don't know. Try it, you will see... If it drain the battery you could try the 'location' trigger to make the switch.

The more flow(any) runs, the more it eats battery. To what extent, you can only find out by testing but as a general rule you should make the flows trigger as few times as it is necessity for it to work. Sometimes you have to make some compromises about how well you want it to work versus battery friendliness.

Could someone improve that flow, with two definied wifi?
Thx a lot.
Sometimes there is a problem with flow, doesn't start. Manually everything is ok. Periodic timer sometimes don't start flow.

What does the condition check? I can see everything else but the condition is only a placeholder.
