Offline Help Files, Where Are They?

Post by piz » 22 Mar 2021 16:13

I know there's no support any more but I'm hoping somebody sees this and knows the answer. Where exactly does the offline help reside once it's downloaded? I want to back it up so I can restore it if I have to do a phone reset after the online version is taken down at some point. I've searched using X-plore and it doesn't show up. But it must be somewhere.

Thanks.

That's a very good idea!!! I'm glad you asked and I'll have to look into it as well.

As a just-in-case, if you can get ahold of FrontPage or other website dev tools, you could import the site to two levels deep and get everything but the forum in just under 40MB.

Thanks. I'm not rooted but I think I'll change that.

Excellent. I'll do that. Thanks.

And if you don't want to root, just download & store this somewhere

I would have gone that route, but I already have the other version. Great tip though! Thank you!

Something Martin started maintaining a while back. Of course I bookmarked it immediately :-)
