It is not working only for incoming call only or both incoming and outgoing call? Try to toggle the call/phone permission for automagic to see if it works.

hi desmanto
I am mostly observing for outgoing calls. Automagic Startup trigger was executing instead of call ended Trigger. my device is Samsung Galaxy j2 non rooted.
no special permissions are required in my device for calls. sometimes working properly sometimes not working.

If Automagic Startup trigger was executing, that means Automagic got killed and restarted when the call ended. It can be a sign of out of memory. Since Lollipop has the memory leak issue.
You can try to see if this is true when you see the system UI got reloaded and everything seems to be slow down when it happens.

I mean out of RAM, which is used to hold the process of apps. Lollipop has some issue where it hold the apps in RAM although it has been closed. This pile up quickly and causing out of memory. Then the OS started to killed older app, including Automagic. Try the trigger again when the phone has just fresh boot up, it should be working fine. Try the trigger again after several hours/days, after you open a lot of app and see if it started to get into problem.
