That's what I feared, a total mess.

Thanks for taking the time to let us know.

Feedback on Control UI action would be appreciated.

Many thanks

Micky

Accesibily permission seems broken in general. So no control UI. Again, I've just started.

So far, no functions I'm using are broken. Early days to try all my flows. We should maintain a list of Triggers/Conditions/Actions that are broken somehow in Android 11

Have you enabled the Accessibility permission?

Google are very strict on this because of the danger it exposes you to. It may have been reset by the upgrade.

I'm guessing you're both using Pixel phones. Samsung phones won't get Android 11 until Christmas or the New Year. However, I'd like to know in advance so I can concentrate on migrating what will break. I believe Samsung forces the Android 11 update on you eventually.

Many thanks

To anyone discouraged by this post, I have same good news. Android 11 began to slow my phone down more and more. When the October 5 security patch was released, that put the final nail in the coffin. My phone app started crashing, music apps were causing the whole phone to reboot constantly, so I did a factory reset and restore. It fixed everything, including Automagic. Looks like all my woes were the result of a failed upgrade.

I've just installed Android 11 on my OnePlus 8 Pro.

My Custom Widgets (and I have a lot of them) no longer work.

Automagic is also causing Nova Launcher to become very laggy (stopping the Automagic service immediately speeds it up again) - not sure yet whether this is down to Nova Launcher not being able to display the widgets?

Looks as if I need to accelerate my plans to climb the Tasker (and KWGT) learning curve :-(

Automate is a far better and (it seems) more powerful option than Tasker. Far more similar to Automagic as well.

They're working fine. I've tested most of the triggers that I have access to or understand and they're all working. You may need to enable some stolen functionality with ADB but that's really kid stuff. I have yet to test most of the actions but I hope to get to it soon.

I guess you didn't keep reading where I discovered my phone was FUBAR and I was forced to do a full factory reset. That same phone has since been replaced under warranty.
