How does scripting work at all?

Post by Robrt » 02 Nov 2015 16:52

Good afternoon,
I am new to programming. I already read parts of the documentation on the Automagic website and it was pretty informative.
But I see a lot of commands which are not mentioned or explained in this documentation. :?
I would like to find out, which programming language is used or just where these commands and the syntax come from.
So I can get a basic knowledge about it :geek: and I will not despair of long-lasting trial and error sessions. :)

Thanks in advance :)

Hi,

Automagic uses its own scripting language. You can find a description of the language when you edit an action Script and then press the help icon to open the documentation page. The documentation also links to a page with some example scripts:
http://automagic4android.com/automagic/ ... mples.html

Let me know if I can help.

Regards,
Martin

Thank you very much. :)

The example scripts are very helpful. This is what I was looking for.
