Is version 1.38 a fresh install?

Post by Micky Micky » 10 Aug 2020 20:04

Hello

And if so, what should I look out for?

I'm thinking that widgets and global variables might be vulnerable.

Any advice would be appreciated.

No, it will install over the AM 1.37.0 from playstore, as if it is the update from playstore. I have installed AM 1.38.0 since sunday, after my weekly data backup. I backup all flow and glovar additionally via my own Automagic backup flow. So far, I have checked all widgets, glovar, start activity, root command, CUI and randomly several flows. All are working fine. If there is something wrong, usually I will know it already within the same day, since I use Automagic in almost everything. I still try not to create/modify any flow yet, so if I have to revert, I don't lost any progress.

The only problem though, specifically at my phone; The HTTP request trigger seems to be draining more battery. But that's a mystery that occur at every AM update on my phone. Somehow, toggling the Keep wifi awake will cure the problem.
