Proximity Sensor on Android 10

Hi,
The Proximity Sensor does not work in Automagic on my Samsung Galaxy S20+. Samsung has obviously changed the way it triggers from (I think) Android 8 or 9. Upon a phone call, there is a flashing light that appears as an object moves over the display near the the bottom-right of the front camera. I can't seem to get the P/S to trigger on any other application, even if the Android Feature hardware.proximity.sensor is present in the Manifest file.
Will there ever be an Automagic fix or workaround for this issue?
