It doesn't run Google Wear, so how are you running Automagic?

The Android app Amazfit Tools sports a Tasker / automagic plugin, you can launch flows pressing one or more times one of the hardware buttons, it just works.

I built several triggers depending on the location as well, if I am at the gym pressing the button twice launches a timer, while if I am at home or elsewhere it launch another flow.
