Wifi tethering switch

Hi.. i have a very successful and working flow to disable my wifi when i disconect. But cannot find a way ti do so with wifi tethering!? Is there such a way to auto turn off my hotspot like i do with my wifi?

There is an action available Set WiFi Tethering State to toogle.

Yep i seen that and was gonna use it. But there is no trigger like bluetooth and wifi to where some device disconnects to trigger that action for tethering

You need root or maybe using dumpsys (maybe @desmanto could help).

Some phones have this feature built in. But if you don't have it then check whether there is any notification on statusbar when devices are connected & disconnected. My old Samsung phone used to show how many devices are connected in notification. So if it shows 'zero' device then take advantage of this using "notification on statusbar displayed" 'contain text: 0 devices connected' , something like that...

My current phone running stock android doesn't have this tho.

Ah.. thanks guys. Yeah i do get the notification... i completely forgot haha ima work on that. Thanks heaps
