Vibration effect

Post by PaulyQ » 27 Dec 2018 22:41

Just noticed that the vibrate action does not seem to have any effect regardless of ringer or do not disturb settings on both note 8 and galaxy tab s3, both android 8.0. Does anyone know if this is this do to with vibration changes in oreo or am I just missing something really obvious here?

Probably the vibration or notification center has been turned off for Automagic. Try to take a look at the app info/permission, make sure the notification has been enabled. Sometimes it can have extra setting for the vibrate permission. In my RR 6.2.0, which is base on LineageOS system, there is additional feature called "Privacy Guard". There is setting to deny VIBRATE permission here. Samsung Oreo 8.0 ROM probably can have the similar feature, you have to search for it and make sure it is allowed for Automagic.
