There is no way to query the connected bluetooth devices available to apps. You currently have to use a trigger BT connected and BT disconnected and track the state of the device on your own using a boolean global variable or a list of device names in a global variable.
I have the condition on my list of features under consideration (low prio, since the state tracking is not optimal and Automagic could miss events when the Automagic service is not running).

Ok, maybe I'll try this workaround.
