I've always had issues with my phone dropping network connections, even though there is perfectly good coverage. This applies to both Wi-Fi and 3G. When this happens, I have to reconnect manually by disabling the network connection, waiting a few secs, and then enabling it again. Cumbersome.
This "Reconnect network" makes it a lot easier for me:

It triggers on "Assist" (long-press Home button). So, if I'm browing and my connection is lost, I can just long-press Home and have my connection re-established without ever leaving the browser.
