Re: Newbie with first attempt
Hmm. Good question. No, I don't think it does. But you said parts of it were working for you. That's quite odd. Again, thanks for responding. When you execute the flow from the flow view, you can see the boxes highlighted in red as the flow progresses. You can also have a look at the log. May be th...

Re: Newbie with first attempt
I don't have a car dock, so I can't do a full test. However: - If I manually execute your flow, it 1) does the speech output, 2) set bluetooth but 3) fails to set the GPS on (because my phone isn't rooted) and 4)fails to launch the app (because I haven't it) - If I simulate the car dock (via another...

Re: Newbie with first attempt
Please post the flow because it will be easier to identify the problem.
What trigger are you using to start the flow?

Re: Set variable dialog
Yes. "input dialog" will store the user response in the variable "value" and you can use it in the subject by putting it between curly brackets.

Re: Plug sounds, help a little?
I'm not sure what you want to achieve, but couldn't you wire the isolated work flow to the ones that set the variable?
As an alternative you could make countplug a global variable and then use a global variable change trigger.

Re: Urgent help needed
Thank you for the response... Yes, second option is enough.... So please let me know how to make a flow for it.... Please take any dummy site for example. For the Action you need to select http request. Then you need to inspect the code of the page you want to login. It should be something like: <f...

Re: Urgent help needed
Hi.. There is a login page with username password and pin number inputs and has a submit button. I need to make a flow for this so that it could enter everything itself when I shake the phone and don't want my browser to remember it. I'm afraid this can't be done in Automagic. You can open a URL in...

Re: Urgent help needed
I guess you can't write in a field from Automagic because you need to manipulate the page objects for that. What you can do is simulate a form submit by using http request. For that you need to know the name of the field in the page and the URL of the submit button. If you give more specific details...

Re: Any reason for the log not working?
It is, because the log lines don't appear precisely when you are debugging the flow an looking at the log from itMartin wrote:I will see if I can change the log function in a future version since this behavior is extremely confusing.
Anyway, everything is understood now. Thanks.

Re: Any reason for the log not working?
You are right! When I open the log from the flow there is a filter. I don't remember setting it, it is weird. The filter is exactly the Flow name. May be this is set by default? I don't remember seeing this mentioned ianywhere (and I searched both in the help and in the forum before posting). Thanks...
