Re: SSH straight to specific directory

Using pubkeys was on my to-do list so thanks for reviving that ;) Better trying this out both at once since they're going hand in hand. I have not ever worked with, nor created pubkey before so this might take longer than expected. Or maybe it's easy, i don't know. There is just no port number insid...

Re: Wake screen with NFC Tag

This is an Android security feature.
NFC will not be turned on while the screen is off (scammers will be publicly tapping your butt/pants all the time inside crowds :? )
So unless you have a phone with those type of restriction removed, Automagic or any other app will not have any influence on this.

Re: SSH straight to specific directory

Yes i'm trying to transfer a file from my phone to a server through SSH (within the same network). I saw inside the help of some other action to use this command. scp also has been a failed attempt. But again, my command knowledge isn't all that. External path seperator is "\". Or do you mean this p...

SSH straight to specific directory

With the Execute SSH Command action, i've been trying to transfer this file for the last few hours to my server now, along the likes of: Command cat > \Download\test.png Input File /storage/emulated/0/test.png But the only actual successful file transfer has been the root folder. I'm probably limite...

Re: Custom Widget alignment on home screen?

What launcher do you use? It mostly depends on that.
If anything, i'd recommend to give Nova Launcher a try.
With that you can place & align widgets the same way as you would with icons (plus it's highly customizable overal), i'm using it for many years now.

Re: Map in script

Well, what do you want to do exactly? I may be wrong, but i get the idea you want to memorize every single function. This will be inefficient. It all depends on what you're making. Then you decide what type of step/function you need for each obstacle you face, and then you search for that particular...

Re: Map in script

Just removing the value itself and letting the variable intact

Code: Select all

variable=""
Removing the variable entirely would be

Code: Select all

removeVariable(variablename)

Re: Google removing ancillary SMS access...

Aaaand Automagic is a victim.
Let's hope this is because of some "phase one" deadline they had to pursue until further solution come above the 'unclear waters'.

Re: Wifi trigger, inconsistent status?

Not quite. This is seems to be a problem at a lower level than AM. Therefor, i'd say it's up to the AM user to come up with creative ideas.
All the building blocks are there, you just have to put them in the right order. Mine works just fine now.

I don't see any option to add a "star" anywhere. Where/how can I do that.. and would it actually help (even if only a bit).

Google is turning soft and going downhill bit by bit
