Re: What is your post Automagic plan?
I'm still using automatic, I am not upgrading further android 9 and I hope I can keep going like that. It would be so good if someone would buy automatic and continue development. I have a new S7 tablet now, and so far all of the functions I've tried have worked. Obviously some things have been cha...

Re: Running list of functions that fail in newer Android
I see this thread has been viewed well over a thousand times already, and no one has given a single example. That could be a good sign. I recently purchased a Galaxy Tab S7 which features the latest version of Android, and though I don't have thousands of flows available to check, the ones that I ha...

Re: Offline Help Files, Where Are They?
As a just-in-case, if you can get ahold of FrontPage or other website dev tools, you could import the site to two levels deep and get everything but the forum in just under 40MB.

Running list of functions that fail in newer Android
I don't have a new Android device, but I don't suppose anyone would feel like documenting the functions that fail in newer Android versions? If you do, please be sure to include whether you have used ADB to enable as many features as possible.
Hopefully someone will take up this suggestion...

That's a very good idea!!! I'm glad you asked and I'll have to look into it as well.

Re: Will Android 11 break Automagic?
Automate is a far better and (it seems) more powerful option than Tasker. Far more similar to Automagic as well.

Re: What is your post Automagic plan?
Automate is very similar, and in several ways far more powerful than Automagic. However, the interface is a bit of hell in comparison. Still, compared with Tasker's interface, Automate is quite nice. I have spent the last few days familiarizing myself with how Automate works, and it's really a prett...

Re: Battery Manager
It is best not to charge a battery over 80%. No, it won't rot, but it's not as good. Charging to 100% typically makes a battery warm, and a warm battery is a degrading battery, whether just a little or a lot.

Re: Toggle Mobile Data (non-root)
I'm on Android 7.1.1 and it's the same variable. Likely it's easier to check the system setting manually by making a flow with the trigger 'system setting changed' and select 'mobile_data' (which is in the 'Global' area on mine), and add a simple beep action to see if it's triggered when you toggle ...
