Re: Scroll

Sorry, i don't follow.
I suppose you're using an action such as "Launch App" and within there trying to find out where your app-list stops.
Why do you need to know where the end of that list is?

Re: global variable

Not much to explain really.
You type the glovar inside the trigger, and then when the value of that glovar changes, the flow will be triggered.

Re: Scroll

When the list doesn't respond to you're scrolling finger anymore.. that's usually a good indication.
Is that your question or...?

Re: Host Reachable issue

I remember myself using this condition, but it had the same result as you're describing. Can't find the topic right now, but it essentially didn't work because of some "under-the-hood process". Recently i figured that my phone (LG Nexus 5X) ignores sending out network signals when the screen is off....

Re: Keyboard micro by gesture?

You can most probably do with the action "Control UI".
It basically simulates finger gestures, but also by 'clicking' objects if a string equals a given value.

Re: SSH straight to specific directory

Not sure why you're trying to get me to use this rsync though. It has nothing to do with automation. Synchronization functionality can be easily created within AM already, and continuing partial files are pretty sad. It means you have either no patience or very bad network connection to begin with. ...

Re: SSH straight to specific directory

Well one example of file automation is of course, the Automagic backup .zip-file. It would be cute to leave it on the local device, but better to have it backed up at my server together with all other backups. That particular backup-flow for instance, will have to transfer that file to the server ev...

Re: SSH straight to specific directory

Owncloud and Seafile both look like promising software. When i'm further with setting up my stuff, i will definitely dig into them. For manual phone-to-server transfer i use ES File Explorer which i bought years ago and have no problem with. But the whole point for now is to automatically transferri...

Re: SSH straight to specific directory

Port 22 could easily be done indeed. But just having that 1 extra number to figure out the port at all makes it, in my book at least, a tiny bit more 'secure' than having just the standard 22. I'm aware there are 2 camps on that whole debate, so you know which one i'm clinging onto now. But that exp...
