Re: Wifi trigger, inconsistent status?

Not quite. This is seems to be a problem at a lower level than AM. Therefor, i'd say it's up to the AM user to come up with creative ideas. All the building blocks are there, you just have to put them in the right order. Mine works just fine now. Not sure. False triggers? Maybe, but checking for ac...

Re: If Automagic loses SMS and Call log features in update..

If you need stronger security … whatsapp Still, «security» and «whatsapp/telegram/any commercial IM» is a mutually exclusive. API is not guaranteed stable too. In any way, implement secure «RPC-over-IM» is feasible, but not simple and trivial. As a whole, this is not a reliable way, especially usin...

Re: Wifi trigger, inconsistent status?

In any way, we need reliable way to listen WiFi events and check it's status. Any needed/related workarounds should be implemented in AM.

FR: Digest auth in HTTP Request

I'm new in AM, but I (and other users ) have already faced to a «RPC problem», when I need to execute some action on remote AM instance. I've failed to found something suitable for this except HTTP Request pair, but it is unsecure at all. Of course, obvious solution is to use TLS, but… cert chains a...

Re: If Automagic loses SMS and Call log features in update..

HTTP Request trigger/action? But it's not secure at all. Though SMS is not secure too. And email.

You can directly control router via SSH (Execute SSH Command). Pubkey auth security level is enough I guess.

Re: Automagic to remove SMS and Call log features in update

Those threads are almost Tasker-only related. Well, the whole idea to not let Google ruin Tasker is good, but what about AM? Did we need a separate issue for AM?

Re: Multiple Wifi connects without Wifi disconnects in betwe

I've got a probably related issue. In any way, this is a serious problem, maybe a bug. What is your Android version?

Desmanto wrote:What android version that got this problem?
AICP Oreo 13.1 Android 8.1.0.

Location (batt saving) is always on, so it isn't a issue. Seems I should seek indirect way to check connectivity, SSH/DNS or whatever.

Wifi trigger, inconsistent status?

My goal was to create flow which execute different actions based on connecting/disconnecting my home network. Flow begins from combined trigger (AM startup, WiFi Connected, WiFi Disconnected). The second is a condition (WiFi Connected) used for subsequent storing actual connection status to variable...
