Re: Disable sounds when reading NFC tags?

Hi Martin

Thanks for the clarification.

Unfortunately if I have to turn the device to Silent before reading the NFC tag, then it will be just as quick to use a Widget to trigger the flow that the NFC tag currently triggers :-)

Disable sounds when reading NFC tags?

Would it be possible to have an option to disable the sounds that Android makes when you use Automagic to read an NFC tag? (I use an NFC tag to trigger my "night mode" - turn off most notifications, start Nightclock app, etc - when I go to bed. If my wife is already asleep, the sound risks waking he...

Re: Question regarding Flow Executing

Not sure why it's not working, but couldn't you achieve your objective using Skip execution when an instance is already executing in the flow's options?

Re: ChargeBar

Ever since I have upgraded to Nougat (Android 7), I have received an error message from the Automagic start flow, which seems to relate to the wm size command. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated. The error it gives is Can't connect to window manager. is the system runnin...

Re: Do you develop everything on your phone?

If you have a Samsung phone, then you can use SideSync to mirror your phone's screen on your PC and use your PC keyboard and mouse. There may be something similar for other brands.

Download A-GPS data?

My understanding is that GPS can utilise "Assisted GPS" (A-GPS) data to significantly reduce the Time To First Fix (TTFF). Basically the data includes a map of where the GPS satelites are located at that time, which means that once the device can see one or two satellites, it can work out much more ...

Re: Car UI Mode and Google Maps

UPDATE: I reported this behaviour to Google (as I'm a Beta tester for Google Maps). Never had a response, but Maps 9.50.2 was released today, and once again Maps works when the device is in Car UI Mode. So it looks as if it was a bug/feature in Google Maps 9.50.1, and nothing whatsoever to do with A...

Re: Car UI Mode and Google Maps

Hi Martin Many thanks for trying. I did already have a 2s sleep between the two action; I have increased it to 10s with no change. (I normally do these actions as part of a much more complex flow - it was only through a process of elimination that I was able to isolate it as occurring with Car UI Mo...

Car UI Mode and Google Maps

If I set Car UI Mode: On , then I cannot run the Google Maps application - it starts and then immediately disappears. Once I switch off Car UI Mode, it works fine. This always used to work for me, and I'm trying to understand what might have changed. I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, running Nougat (...

Re: Phone contacts don't sync with car

Have you tried putting a short "sleep" delay (say 10 seconds) between disconnecting the headset and connecting to the car?
