Re: Perform Action on Notification on Statusbar (Not Working)

I noticed you said that the function worked for you on a Xiaomi device. For that reason, I would have to ask if the devices use different android versions. Version 6 is fairly old at this point.

Re: Will Android 11 break Automagic?

Accesibily permission seems broken in general. So no control UI. Again, I've just started. They're working fine. I've tested most of the triggers that I have access to or understand and they're all working. You may need to enable some stolen functionality with ADB but that's really kid stuff. I hav...

Automagic seems fine under Android 11

I read some horror stories in the "Will Android 11 break Automagic?" post. As far as I can tell with my somewhat limited testing, those horror stories were one-offs, or perhaps brand/carrier specific. I got a new S7 tablet with Android 11, and most Automagic functionality is still fine, aside from w...

And if you don't want to root, just download & store this somewhere

How in the heck did you find that??? lol...
I would have gone that route, but I already have the other version. Great tip though! Thank you!

Re: The End of Automagic

I discovered automagic about 3 or 4 days ago and I felt in love with it. I was looking for an alternative to Tasker, which I find tedious and horrible. Automagic on the other hand is almost everything I ever wanted Tasker was (I have been using Tasker for 6 years or so)... I am always at odds with ...

Re: What is your post Automagic plan?

Has anyone started using Automate after AM yet, converting flows, etc? I'm using Automate just a bit. I find it a little confusing. You almost HAVE to connect every node even if you're not going to use it. For example if you have a "WiFi Connected" block and set it to "When changed," thinking that ...

Re: What is your post Automagic plan?

Automate is very similar, and in several ways far more powerful than Automagic. However, the interface is a bit of hell in comparison. I had a quick look at Automate. Still need to get my head around the different paradigms has has for triggers/actions/conditions/flows. It seems all its flows are e...

Re: What is your post Automagic plan?

I'm still using automatic, I am not upgrading further android 9 and I hope I can keep going like that. It would be so good if someone would buy automatic and continue development. I have a new S7 tablet now, and so far all of the functions I've tried have worked. Obviously some things have been cha...

Re: Running list of functions that fail in newer Android

I see this thread has been viewed well over a thousand times already, and no one has given a single example. That could be a good sign. I recently purchased a Galaxy Tab S7 which features the latest version of Android, and though I don't have thousands of flows available to check, the ones that I ha...
