Re: Looking for Activity to disable "Deep battery optimizati

MIUI also has the similar function call MIUI Optimization. And the first thing I do when I get any Xiaomi Phones is to disable this. It has done more harm than good. And I have tested, disabling the optimization doesn't increase battery drain, either Screen on Time or standby drain. I can still get...

Re: Looking for Activity to disable "Deep battery optimizati

Couldn't halp it, simply had to test it last night. But after a furious search, I have found the terminal command to change it (yay, thanks to your question :D). Use dumpsys deviceidle Found it here : https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/129074/is-there-a-way-to-exclude-an-app-from-doze As yo...

Wow, I'm deeply impressed! Many thanks for the effort.

Re: Looking for Activity to disable "Deep battery optimizati

OK, if it can't be done I'll have to stick to doing it manually. Was just an idea Why would you do that? For outdoor activities I'm using OruxMaps to record my own tracks. The app never had a problem to keep recording until I got my OnePlus 6 running Pie and I found that "Deep optimization" is indee...

Looking for Activity to disable "Deep battery optimization"

For my oneplus 6 / running on Pie I'm looking for a way to disable "Settings >> battery >> battery optimization >> advanced optimization >> deep optimization", then start an app. Or even better: disable that setting upon starting the app. But first things first. Been looking at "Set system setting",...

Re: How do I create "Zones", "Areas", whatever you would lik

There is no similar function to scan and add to area in Automagic. But you can build a flow to do so. Also coming from good old Llama I'm currently planing a similar flow. Thanks for your idea! I'm currently wondering how I could store collected info in form of a map list, json file or whatever, an...

Upgrading test to full version

Currently running the time limited free test version and am considering a major investment, i.e. upgrade to the full version.

Is it save to install over my current setup, or will I have to configure everything from scratch? Do I probably even have to uninstall the apk first?

Re: Why does a trigger by Cell ID need location sensors?

AFAIR, starting from oreo, the restriction is already there. Llama is still working on my old phone (running LineageOS Oreo). So it must have been an "improvement" with Pie. Root doesn't help in this case, as it is the basic permission/restriction imposed from the OS itself. AFAIK, no workaround ye...
