Re: Logging within flow

Thanks for the very quick response.

So you're saying not to use ANY write-to-file method at all, but instead to keep everything just inside the glovar?
I don't really understand your first sentence: "Don't write to file, it need to execute another write to file action."

Logging within flow

I have a question about writing log information to a txt-file. There is this flow i'm working on and i want to create log info around each corner in an efficient way. The goal is to make it absolutely sure the info is being written (in case the flow unexpectedly stops), while at the same time being ...

Re: Clickable Areas in Widgets

You could work with stacking 2 widgets on top of each other. Creating a "base and top layer". Add transparancy if/where needed. Remember that Automagic can only perform as much as Android allows/is limited to. And widgets are Android based. Automagic offers you only the widget-editor to create the r...

Re: Tcp/udp Sending and receiving

@elektroinside The answer on that forum already describes what my question was implying. I know it's just a protocol where a format like "http" rides upon.
I just want to know what you would like to be sending a message with (using UDP or TCP)?

Re: Tcp/udp Sending and receiving

I'm missing the point i'm sure, but aren't TCP/UDP just protocols that sending a http just makes use of?

Re: Gboard is slowing down

Just to clarify, even after done editing the scripts, does the problem still remain for the rest of you? A number of us have the issue remaining even after done editing a script and not working in Automagic...it follows us to other apps. some of you make it sound like its ONLY while editing the scr...

Re: Add background text color

I was about to say this would be too specific and you could easily solve it with a simple rectangle behind it.
But then variable text can have a whatever-amount of width.

This request isn't bad at all ;)

Re: Multi level folders inside Automagic

First i wasn't sure about this.
But it now becomes more apparent to me that the folder structure needs sub-folders.
And also perhaps something to make active flows visible inside the folder-tab when it's unfolded(?)

Re: Temporarily mute

Many of us come from either Trigger, Tasker or Automate (Llama's developers) because they are widely popular. Somehow Automagic has like 10 times less users. Which is weird to me because Automagic rocks 100 times harder than either one of them. Me biased?.. wouldn't dare  ...but with good reaso...
