Thanks for reporting!
This is indeed a new Bug in Android P. A workaround will become available in the next EAP build (soon) and the next release (also soon).

It looks like the "Icon in expanded status bar" setting is not working. The Automagic icon is always showing in the collapsed status bar for me.

Thanks.

Unfortunately Android P does not respect the setting anymore and I'm not aware of a workaround yet. I assume that this might be the desired behavior by Google to make sure that the user is aware about the running service.
The best workaround on Android P is probably to use a condition Notification on Statusbar Displayed to detect the Automagic notification and then use action Snooze Notification on Statusbar to "remove" the notification. It's not perfect since I actually liked to show the notification on the expanded statusbar.
Maybe there will be a better workaround when Automagic supports notification channels.

Martin

Will WiFi connect/disconnect with SSID work as before once a new version is released or do we have to do anything to change the conditions in the flows? Thanks for being on top of it and fixing issues.

The WiFi trigger should work the same way as before (fingers crossed) but since it uses slightly different API to access some information and some devices implement the WiFi features slightly different, there is a chance of regressions unfortunately.

How can we get access to the test version before it's available in the play store? I'd like to make sure the problem is fixed. Thanks.

Interruptions Mode trigger not working on Android 9.

Hi,

For me the trigger still works on Android 9, at least mode All and Priority. The other two modes might not be supported anymore on Android 9 since the configuration is much more flexible now. I'll check if there's a way to improve the situation.

There is a problem with "Time" trigger? There is no reaction at the set time. Automagic ver. 1.36.0, Huawei Mate 9.
Looking for help, thanks.

Huawei is known for aggressively killing background apps. Make sure Automagic isn't getting killed. Follow these steps to exclude Automagic https://dontkillmyapp.com/huawei
