I can see and agree with niftea's perspective and suggestion (with a little colored corner on the box to indicate that a note exists). However, I sometimes use notes to identify or briefly describe different branches of my flow, so I think note boxes might still have its place/uses.

Each flow can have a custom name. I'm not sure how big that field can be today, but it can have notes appended to it, right?

Adding my +1 to this.

I've used Automagic for a while now, so some of my early flows were constructed quite some time ago - and when I look at them today, it's not always immediately clear to me why I set them up as I did. I sometimes have to open up the actions / conditions, one by one, to "rediscover" both their contribution to the flow, and the overall internal logic of the flow itself. I know that some things (e.g., scripts) can be annotated using //, but Notes that could be attached to each box would be very useful.

Notes also would facilitate remembering existing or possible interactions (including potential conflicts) with other, distinct, flows.

And maybe the option of making the size of the conditions and the actions (Sometimes they have a big name and it can't fit well in the size of the containers
